Martin Weenink

Martin Weenink graduated from the University of Groningen in 2001 in Dutch and Notarial Law. Since then, he has specialised fully in family law and inheritance law. These are areas of law in which his personal interests and qualities are at their best.

Martin Weenink is active as a divorce lawyer and mediator, often in complex matters involving major financial interests. He also regularly acts as a sparring partner in mediations or as a lawyer in (international) relocation cases involving children.

Martin is also the right man for second opinions. His clients include many (spouses of) independent entrepreneurs and independent professionals, executors and liquidators.

To achieve the best results for his clients, Martin often works together with financial experts (accountants and tax specialists) from his extensive network.

Martin Weenink is a member of the Association of Family Lawyers and Divorce Mediators (vFAS) and has completed various vFAS specialisation courses in family and inheritance law. He is also a consultation divorce lawyer and a member of the Association of Collaborative Professionals (VvCP), the Practice Group Midden-Nederland and the Consultative Divorce Team Randstad.

Martin has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association:

  • Law of persons and family law (divorces, maintenance cases, access arrangements, collaborative divorce, private international law, mediation and parenthood and recognition);
  • Inheritance law.

Pursuant to this registration, he is obliged to obtain ten training points in each registered main area of law every calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
