Martin Weenink
“ What fascinates me in my profession is the combination of legal, financial and personal aspects. Particularly in disputes where emotions can run high, my involvement as a lawyer or mediator can mean a lot to my clients, for instance I will listen carefully so that I can properly identify their interests and wishes. Clients often tell me they enjoy exchanging ideas with me. Not only because I am quick to gauge situations and take a realistic approach, but also because I have no qualms about holding a mirror up to them if necessary, for instance when I notice someone’s emotions threatening to get in the way of their long-term interests or goals. My approach allows me to offer tailor-made long-term solutions in most cases. And when it comes to litigation, my clients also benefit from my personal and thorough approach. "

Martin Weenink is an experienced lawyer and mediator, a keen legal expert who readily empathises with his clients. Martin Weenink studied Dutch and notarial law at the University of Groningen, graduating in 2001. Since then his practice has focused fully on family and inheritance law. Martin makes optimum use of his personal skills and interests in these fields of law.

Martin Weenink is active as a lawyer handling both collaborative and contested divorces and as a mediator, often in complex family-law and inheritance-law cases involving substantial financial interests. He is also frequently asked to give a second opinion or to act as a background adviser in mediation. His clients include self-employed contractors, medical specialists and other professional practitioners and their spouses, as well as several professional executors and liquidators.
